Andrew first discovered Remi when he was still at school playing in the band Mars Bonfire, sorting them out with a monthly residency at the Imperial in Hereford. When Remi turned his band to Gypsy Jazz, Andrew booked him for a festival performance SnodFest and recommended him to Jamie Cullum. Several Radio 2 and Radio 3 sessions followed, including an interview with Chris Evans. Andrew eventually landed Remi a place at the Montreal Jazz Festival followed by a BBC Proms event at the Royal Albert Hall a couple of weeks later.
